
STATE STREET RESEARCH ANNNOUNCES PROMOTIONS TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
BOSTON, MA, November 3, 2000--State Street Research & Management Company
promoted Alex G. Fedoroff and Thomas J. Coleman to Senior Vice President in
the firm's Institutional Group. The announcement was made by Christopher C.
Abbott, Executive Vice President, and Head of Institutional Marketing and
Client Service Group.
Fedoroff joined State Street Research's Institutional Marketing and Client
Service Group in 1991, and is currently responsible for providing client
service and communication to many of the firm's large corporate clients.
Previously, he was vice president and head of the investment marketing group
at Fidelity Investments. Fedoroff also served as senior vice president of
equities for CIGNA Investments. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business
School and a BA from Hofstra University. Fedoroff has more than 40 years in
the investment industry.
Coleman joined State Street Research in 1996 as a fixed income portfolio
specialist. In his present role as Fixed Income Product Manager, he
facilitates the development of fixed income products for the firm's clients
along with providing them with customized, detailed communications concerning
their portfolios. Prior to State Street Research, Coleman was an account
manager at MetLife Investment Management Corporation and, before that, was a
portfolio manager and fixed income analyst with Ark Asset Management. He has
an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BS from
Syracuse University.
