PEGGY SCHOOLEY NAMED PRESIDENT, CEO OF PIONEER INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT SHAREHOLDER SERVICES, INC.



BOSTON, Massachusetts -Pioneer Investment Management USA Inc. announces that Peggy Schooley has joined the company as president and CEO of Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, Inc. Ms. Schooley is responsible for all aspects of transfer agent operations in Medford and Omaha and will report to Osbert Hood, chief operating officer. She replaces Roger Rainville, who will retire in early July.

"With an extensive customer service background and proven track record in the mutual fund industry, Ms. Schooley was an ideal candidate for the role of president of Pioneer's service organization," said Mr. Hood. "As she has been in the industry, we expect Ms. Schooley will be an outspoken advocate for shareholders of Pioneer funds, leading the company to new heights of service."

Ms. Schooley comes to Pioneer from PFPC where she was senior client services officer, responsible for relationship management with 20 fund groups. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president of the Financial Institutions Division and a senior vice president of Client Relations and Communications at Putnam Investments. Previously, Ms. Schooley was a manager of retirement plans marketing at American Funds Distributor. She began her career in mutual fund operations at USAA Transfer Agent Company. She also served for many years on the ICI Transfer Agent Advisory Committee. Ms. Schooley attended the University of Texas at San Antonio.
