Lipper Weekly U.S. Fund Flows Video Series — November 18, 2015
Funds had aggregate net outflows of over $21.5 billion (including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds [ETFs]), for the fund flows week ended Wednesday November 18, 2015. Pat Keon, Lipper Research Analyst, speaks to the highlights in this week's fund flows video.

Funds (including both mutual funds and ETFs) experienced overall net outflows of approximately $17.8 billion during the second quarter of 2015. Equity funds (+$12.6 billion) and taxable bond funds (+$9.0 billion) both took in net new money while money market funds (-$37.1 billion) and municipal bond funds (-$2.3 billion) saw money leave their coffers.

For Q3 2015, mutual funds posted their worst quarter-end returns (-5.17%) since Q3 2011, contributed to by the Chinese market meltdown in July and August and large declines in commodity prices. In addition, investors worried about the Fed removing its ultra-loose accommodative polices, which led to additional market volatility. In this WebEx replay of Lipper's Third Quarter 2015 Fund Performance Review and Outlook, Tom highlights investment trends for equity funds during Q3 and provides his outlook for next quarter.
